Rising from the depths of the London music scene like the radioactive Godzilla of Indie Rock, Hong Kong Cinema have been crushing small buildings and swatting at tiny war planes all over the capital since July 2006. Fuelled by a love of music and a hunger for playing live shows they combine 5 ancient powers to unleash 1000 years of whoop ass all over Crouching Tiger!

A group of twenty-something young men bringing their own style into the musical arena. A mixture of punchy rock beats, a strong rhythm section soaring guitars, topped off by elegantly distinctive vocals. Hong Kong Cinema are a London based 5 piece who write and play all their own material. They consist of Tom Lee on vocals, Myke Fitzgerald on guitar, Gav Murray on guitar, Ben Bowdell on bass and Ian Boyd drums. Having formed in July 2006 the boys have been playing and entertaining crowds all over the capital, their style of catchy, guitar lead music, interwoven around strong melodies and energetic beats have helped them gain the support of a solid fan base and a reputation for good songs. HKC have already recorded a self titled debut EP and are currently writing and recording in the studio, working on their second offering.
